Our Approach - Free Roaming
The chickens, ducks and guinea fowl at Woolley Park Farm are free-roaming - no fencing of any kind restricts outdoor freedom. This is particularly significant for the Guinea Fowl who just love being able to have the run of the farm. Furthermore, the birds have access to a variety of different terrains and the insects living within them, so they can keep occupied by scratching around for the bugs and this is a fantastically natural source of protein.
All of this adds to an enriched quality of life for the birds of Woolley Park Farm. The free-roaming, combined with a good natural diet, adds to the overall superior flavour of the poultry. Birds are naturally inquisitive creatures often exploring far and wide, however as soon as the sun begins to fall they head for home (more often than not, with a little encouragement!).
