Free Range Guinea Fowl

Out of all the birds on the farm, the free range guinea fowl need and enjoy the freedom of their endless room for roaming the most.

They are often seen crouching in the hedgerows or ‘hanging out’ with the ducks.

It is true that they are fantastic to watch but it must be said, even better to eat!

Slaughtering Ages for Guinea Fowl is 16 – 20 weeks.

Guinea fowl does have a delicate game flavour, most commonly referred to as a balance between pheasant and chicken. The light and creamy texture of this little dry-plucked and hung bird really is a delicacy not to be missed.
